April Update

My blogging has taken a back burner to these busy babies lately.  Time is flying by and I am savoring every minute of my babies being babies.

So...what's new?!

Silas is as busy as ever.  He is a great crawler and LOVES pulling up on everything.  He keeps us hopping every minute he is awake (thankfully he usually takes two good naps a day).  Some of his favorite things are electrical cords, pulling the trash can over, pulling dirty or clean dishes out of the dishwasher, shoes, paper, music (he's a little dancer), being outside especially riding in the wagon with Taegan, Mommy and Daddy, and playing with Taegan.  He is such a happy baby!  I am in total disbelief that he will be 9 months old this month.  He said his first two words over the past two weeks "Bye Bye" and "Ma Ma."  He has two bottom teeth now and FOUR top teeth trying to come in...so night time sleep is still a bit hit or miss.

Taegan has been entertaining us with performances of all the Frozen songs daily and she knows all of them since we watch the movie daily :)  Her favorite things aside from Frozen are playing dress up, having tea parties, playing outside, and going to Gymnastics.  Oh and FLOWERS...how could I forget!  She loves to pick flowers and give them to me.  Every single time we go to Meme and Granddaddy's house we have to pick 3 butter-cups.  Taegan and Silas have recently started really playing together and it just melts our hearts to hear them giggling as she crawls around chasing him or plays "peek a boo" with him.  She is such a good big sister.

She come's up with the cutest things. Recently when I picked her up from pre-school her teachers said she had told her class that "Lauren is having two babies, they are girls, and they are black!  I have a picture at home."  Well...Lauren is having a girl, only one girl (we have another friend that is having twins and I think that is where the two babies came from), and she thought the baby was going to be black because of the ultrasound picture!

Last week when we were outside at the swing set Brandon's parents walked over.  Taegan motioned for me to lean down and whispered to me "Mommy, Grandma's hair turned white like Elsa's."

Silas keep crawling to the edge of the blanket and touching the grass and giggling.  He never did leave the blanket :)
